Controlled Ascent is where the professional work lives: autopilot tuning, flight log analysis, simulation, compliance folders. It is a consultancy site and it reads like one, which is correct — but it leaves no room for the half-finished, the merely interesting, or the things that turned out not to work.

So this is the other site. Expect notes on control and flight, some writing about tools — I remain convinced that good tooling repays its cost almost immediately — and the occasional post-mortem of something I built that did not survive contact with reality. Those are usually the useful ones.
